Small poop noted about the size of a quarter this morning and again this afternoon.

I’m not impressed.

The quest for sleep in endless.  There has been no sleep in this household for some time now.  Neither during the day nor the night.  Naps have become nonexistent.  Sleep lasting more than three hours at night a distant dream. He cries, he whines.  I haven’t slept more than 2 hours ina row in the last three days.

I thought he was gassy, gave him some Mylacon.  Didn’t work.  Gave him some Tylenol for pain in case he was teething.  Nothing.  I just went out and got some of those teething tablets.  I’m desperate.

I thought I was FINALLY getting a break, but he is awake.   The white noise machine didn’t work and the airplane overhead woke him up.  I thought maybe he would go back on his own, but no.  He’s kicking and moaning up there.  C-Dub says let him lay there.

I tried that earlier.  He just escalated to hysterical crying.

Something he hardly ever does.

I’m exhausted.

I feel like I’m loosing my mind.

Oh, and I have to go to work tonight.

Shit.

  1. Uggggg – that sounds like NO FUN! I’m sorry MyFriend, I wish had some advice for you…. 😦

  2. Not fun, I am sorry you are having a hard time with sleep. I wish I could be more help, but I am feeling things out myself.

  3. I am so sorry! We are in the middle of a no sleep week as well, and it is just miserable. I hope you manage to get some rest. Good luck at work tonight.

  4. OMG that sounds terrible! I hope you get through work ok. One thing I do when the non-sleeping gets really bad is cuddle with the kid in a comfey chair and sleep with him all night. Sleeping sitting up sucks but at least it’s sleep. Maybe it will work for you? Give you some relief? It’s not a permanent solution but it works for me during particularly bad times.

  5. Man, Pookah is going through it. You can also try some baby pears, it such help.
